I am an assistant professor of structural engineering at Carleton University, located in Ottawa, ON, Canada. I specialize in high strain-rate (blast) effects on structures, specifically looking at how to optimize the response of structures when subjected extreme loads, such as blast explosions, impacts, and ballistics.
I am also a licensed professional engineer in Ontario.
My research entails using a combination of experimental and analytical methodologies. Specifically, research is conducted following a holistic approach, whereby we first study and attempt to understand the parts of a complex system prior to studying it as a whole.
My website’s purpose is to display my credentials in an accessible medium, as well as provide the means to connect with me.
Whether for potential research collaborations, graduate supervision (MEng, MASc, PhD), or University-Industry-Government partnerships, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
